Job Description:
Life and Hope Association (LHA), a non-profit, non-political organization, established by the monks of Wat Damnak, seeks a qualified candidate for this key new leadership position to oversee five programs LHA currently runs. 

The Program Director will have day-to-day responsibility for the programs LHA operates in and around Siem Reap, including a children's orphanage, a junior high school, a sewing training center, a community development program, and a girls’ education bridge. He or she will supervise project managers and office staff, and report to executive director.

Duties:

  • Creating strategic plans to expand programs and develop LHA
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the programs
  • Ensuring LHA’s effective administrative and financial management
  • Developing staff and building an effective organization
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Energetic, flexible and compassionate problem solver
  • A bachelor degree, preferably in management or equivalent
  • Bi-cultural knowledge and sensitivity: English and Khmer
  • Fluent in both English and Khmer (speaking and writing)
  • At least 2 years experience in a leadership position, preferably in an NGO
