Working in Siem Reap town, Siem Reap Province with some work in Chi Kraeng District, Siem Reap Province, the Managing Accountant will manage general accounting for the Foundation, disburse funds for projects and to staff as needed, track cash flow, help the Programme Director ensure that donor requirements for expenditures are met, and work with the Programme Director to ensure the accurate use of funds for all Foundation activities.
- Manage and Maintain general accounting activities for Temple Garden Foundation
- Track expenses, revenues and cash flow and update the Cambodia Programme Director weekly on these subjects
- Manage employee expenditure requests and project funding requests; provide weekly summaries of each to the Programme Director
- Monitor projects including tracking actual expenditures compared to estimated expenditures
- Work with the Programme Director to ensure that donor requirements are met regarding the expenditure of funds on Foundation projects
- Update the Board of Directors as necessary regarding Foundation expenditures
- Work with external accountants and auditors when necessary
